Assistant Project Manager
Full-Time
Position Overview: As part of the Terminal Redevelopment Team, the Assistant Project Manager maintains and submits all documents related to the expansion, as well as monitors and reports on the status of projects, to the Project Managers.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establishes procedures and governance for future expansions
• Responsible for document control, including cost control reporting and purchase requisitions • Conducts field inspections for safe working conditions and operational issues, SMS, walkthroughs, and safety audits
• Submits Tenant Alteration Applications (TAAs) and equivalent within the Port Authority E-Filing system • Serves as the liaison between the Port Authority and the Delta Air Lines team
• Responsible for internal, external, and business partner communication regarding the operational impact and scheduled work
• Other construction related duties
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training, and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 years of related experience
• Experience with electronic drawing systems such as BIM modeling and 3D CAD
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) highly preferred
Special Requirements
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances required to work at an airport
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work weekends and off-hours
